Conservatives and the Deficit →
Great post about how much conservatives have really cared about budget deficits in the past 30 years.
WatchSwimming at the top of the world (in two respects) is at least a small indication that big change is underway.
Priorities
There are three important things in our political discussions:
Process - The laws and governing bodies by which we make, execute, and judge laws.
Problems - Identifying and establishing priority among issues.
Solutions - Figuring out and enacting methods of addressing problems.
We spend way too much time arguing about solutions and way too little on identifying and prioritizing problems.
